Pearl Rescued From A Trash Dumpster
In August 2013 a Dallas based independent rescue group, Duck Team 6 (DT6) joined forces with the Dallas Police Department to rescue a female pit bull from a trash dumpster.
A Good Samaritan was walking nearby the dumpster and heard crying.
The female pit bull was discovered in the trash dumpster.
She was believed to be used for breeding and her owner through her in the dumpster like a piece of trash.
The scared pit bull was waiting for someone to rescue her or be crushed with the rest of the garbage.
A trash truck was scheduled to pick up the garbage in a few hours.
She was pulled from the trash dumpster and named Pearl.
She was then taken to the Dallas Animal Services.
Circle Star, a registered animal rescue group saved her.
They renamed her Aspen, showed her love, gave her obedience training, rehabilitation, socialization classes and got her ready to be adopted.
A family fell in love with her, adopted her and gave her a good furever home where she will never be thrown away like trash again.
