Ten Year Old Reunited With His Pit Bull Puppy Stolen In South Nashville

This video is about a ten year boy who is reunited with his pit bull puppy that was stolen off his leash while the boy was walking him in south Nashville.

Khalik, a ten year old boy was walking his pit bull puppy named Boomer on Ezell Pike in south Nashville when  two men pulled up beside him in a car and got out. One of the men started asking him a lot of questions. The other man stooped down to pet Boomer and took his leash off. They then quickly took off in their car with Boomer.

One morning almost a month after Boomer had been stolen Angie Corbett, Khalik’s mom heard barking behind her while she was taking out the trash. She turned around and miraculously  there was Boomer tied by his leash to a telephone pole in their yard.  Angie started yelling, “Boomer”s back!” Khalik said, “I jumped out of my bed. I was shocked.”

Khalik couldn’t hardly believe it. He was so glad to have Boomer back.

His twelve old sister said, “Mom, prayers do come true” and her mom said that she was right. Prayers do come true.

Although Boomer appeared to be healthy, the Corbett family took him to the vet to have him checked out to make sure he was okay.
