This Pit Bull Victim Of Dog Fighting Heals

Willa, a four year old pit bull was found as a stray wandering on the streets and taken to a shelter. She was in terrible condition. She had scars all over her face and infected abscesses on her face and neck and infected skin drooping down under her neck. She was believed to be used as bait to train other dogs how to fight. If Karma Rescue had not rescued her, she would have definitely been euthanized.

Willa started her journey to recovery in a loving foster home with Alex. This is where she was willing to come out of her shell, trust people again, and give them second chance despite all she had been through and not only that this is where she met another dog named Bella who is now her best friend.

Willa is now living a wonderful life. She is a true ambassador for the pit bull breed and is changing people’s lives.
