This Blind New Mexico Pit Bull Finally Gets A New Home

This video is about a blind four year old pit bull named Raj who spent most of his life chained up finally finding a forever loving home.

After being rescued, Raj spent months in a shelter before being adopted by a loving family.

“As soon as I saw him, I just knew he was my puppy,” Alex Goslow said.

Raj’s life hasn’t always been easy for him He spent three years of his life chained up in what is believed to be a junkyard in Las Vegas, New Mexico. It is believed that Raj and two other dogs he was living with were poisoned and he was the only one who survived.

His story was featured on a popular website dodo.com and by a media outlet in the UK but he still was not adopted. It was taking a long time to find Raj a forever home for some reason.. Until now.

“When I saw him and just the video and how he behaved and how happy he was despite not having any vision it seemed like a good fit,” said Alex Goslow Raj’s new mom.

Alex and her boyfriend fell in love with Raj after watching this video made by Animal Humane Society.

“The next day we decided to go to Animal Humane and we picked him up.”

Raj is quickly settling in to his new home. He loves running around unchained in his new yard and when he is not doing that he really enjoys cuddling with his loving parents.

His parents also added a doggy door to their house for Raj and they say he quickly learned how to go in and out on his own.

“I think the world is a better place with Raj in it, so I am glad we could provide that for him,” added Alex Goslow..
