Indianapolis Woman Says Her Pit Bull Saved Her From House Fire
In this video an Indianapolis woman gives her pit bull named Raja credit for saving her life from a house fire.
An Indianapolis woman was working downstairs when Raja her pit bull smelled smoke and came downstairs and jumped on her and started whining. She ignored him at first but when he came back she realized something was wrong and got up and went up the stairs. A fire had started in the trash can where she had dumped ashes from a fire pit she had been using earlier but it quickly spread to the rest of the house. She quickly ran out of the house but Raja did something unusual he ran back downstairs.
As the woman was standing on the other side of the street she saw a man in a pickup truck on crutches drive up. He kicked the front door open and reappeared leading Raja from the flames. This mysterious man saved Raja’s life but before anyone could thank him he left the scene limping on his crutches never to heard from again.
Raja was treated for smoke inhalation but had no other injuries. His owner said that he was going to get a big steak for dinner.
