Pit Bull Wouldn’t Leave Shelter Without Chihuahua Who Never Left His Side Owner Adopted Both

In this video a three year old pit bull named Merrill would not leave the shelter without an eight year old chihuahua who  never left his side when he had surgery to save his life so the owner adopted both of them.

They lived at Rocket Dog Rescue.

While there Merrill became very sick and needed surgery to save his life

Taco wouldn’t leave his side not even once during his rehabilitation.

During this time they became best friends.

The shelter said, “These two love each other more than any bonded pair we have ever seen.”

When it came time for one of them to be adopted, it was Merrill who was chosen.

But when it came time to take him home it quickly became apparent that he wasn’t going to leave Taco his best friend who never left his side.

Merrill and Taco cried for each other when they were separated.

So what could be done?

The owner adopted both Merrill and Taco.

Now Merrill and Taco will live together in a loving family that knows some bonds should never be broken.
