Pit Bull Rescued From Starvation Adopted

In this video a pit bull rescued from starvation gets adopted.

Benji was rescued from an owner who ‘forgot’ to feed him.

He spent his whole life living on a two foot chain on concrete.

When the rescue group Sidewalk Specials found him he was covered with open wounds where people had thrown rocks at him, had frost bite and was half starved to death.

When this rescue group fed Benji, he thought it was a trick and that he would be kicked for eating but he was too hungry to stop.

His condition was heartbreaking.

They drove like crazy to get him to Vet Point in time.

The vets stayed two hours after closing time to give Benji treatment after being shocked by his condition.

Volunteers worked to get Benji to trust them.

At 9pm Benji was finally taken to his foster home.

He was about to find out what kindness was for the first time in his life.

One week later Benji met another dog who became his first friend.

By this time he had learned that not all humans are evil and heartless.

He was now finally ready to be adopted but would anybody want him?

Bet you won’t recognize him.

A kind woman with a big heart adopted Benji and gave him a forever home where he will be loved for the rest of his life like he always deserved.

He also has new brothers who he can play with all the time.

He has now healed except for his tail which is going to take a while because he can’t stop wagging it.

His life is now one big adventure.
