Shelter Pit Bull On Brink Of Euthanasia Asks For Help

In this video a sweet one year old shelter pit bull on the brink of being euthanized does something precious asking for help.

Jon Patel and his wife Kayla went to a shelter in Jackson, Tennessee to view the dogs but were unsure if they wanted a dog.

All the pit bulls were barking and bouncing off their cages but this one sweet pit bull.

She was sitting quietly and still in her cage and because of this she captured Jon’s attention.

He went over to her cage and she put out her little paw as if asking Jon to save her.

He placed her little paw in his hand and knew immediately she was meant for them.

Ellie had been turned back into the shelter by her former owner because he didn’t think she was “cute” any more because she no longer was a puppy.

The Patels found out later that she was scheduled to be euthanized the day they visited the shelter.

It was if Ellie knew she was going to be euthanized and she was asking Jon to save her life.

However the Patels couldn’t take her home until the following Monday.

They talked the shelter into holding her until then.

However the shelter told them if they didn’t pick her up on Monday they were going to euthanize her.

True to their word The Patels showed up at the shelter the following Monday and took her home.

Ellie now has a forever loving home and no longer has to be scared, lonely, or waiting in a cage in a shelter to be euthanized.

Also The Patels went to that shelter that day unsure about whether they wanted to adopt a dog but now they can’t perceive their lives without Ellie.

They love Ellie and Ellie loves them.
