Broken Jaw Pit Bull Puppy Rescued

A three week old pit bull puppy named May has had a few rough weeks..She suffered a broken jaw when her pit bull mom lashed out at her when she tried to eat food from her food bowl.

May’s owners could afford her treatments so they so they surrendered her to Vet Ranch. Luckily Dr. Kari was able to fund May’s operation using Vet Ranch donations and save her life. Due to May’s injuries she could no longer nurse from her mother so during the surgery they inserted a feeding tube so that they could tube feed her while her jaw was healing.

May healed much faster than they expected. Within a week May was able to eat a mix of milk and canned food.

May is super feisty and playful. As soon as she is completely healed she will be ready for a loving forever home.
