Disabled Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross Takes First Steps

Physiotherapists save an eleven week old staffordshire bull terrier cross pit bull puppy named Wonky from a life of disability.

She was nicknamed Wonky due to her bent forelegs.

After two weeks of intense physiotherapy she can walk again.

This rare condition is caused by the front leg tendons not developing properly because of the puppy being separated from the mother at an early age.

Her legs are straightened thirty times a day to strengthen her muscles.

She has since been renamed Juliet and can now walk on all four legs for short walks however still struggles to run.

She was found abandoned wandering the streets of Bradford.
