Missing Pit Bull Reunited With Family After Eight Years

Kristen Pruitt let Petunia, a pit bull, out of her family’s house along with two
other dogs in Spotsylvania, Virginia and they headed toward the alpaca barn
like always but this time she didn’t return. The family put up missing dog signs
but as time went by they gave up hope.

It turns out eight years later she was found 2700 miles away by a Yuba County,
California resident May Eden who found her wandering alone in a wildlife
preserve. She took her home for the night and then took her to an animal
shelter where they scanned her and found a microchip. The Pruitt’s vet called
them to tell them Petunia had been found.

Please share this video to let people know they should microchip their dogs.
