Penni was next line to be euthanized at the shelter because she was afraid of everything.

She had spent the first year of her life locked in a basement of a drug house.

But when her dad moved from New Jersey to Las Vegas and started taking her outside on hikes
she began to come out of her shell and her behavior began to change.

Now Penni has an amazing life where she is fearless and goes on epic hikes.
