Pit Bull Puppy Severely Burned In Fire Becomes Honorary Firefighter

After being severely burned when trapped in a burning garage for almost eleven minutes at three weeks old, Jake the pit bull is getting a second chance at life.

He was adopted by Bill Lindler the firefighter who rescued him when the family who owned him could not afford the expensive medical bills.

Jake is now the official mascot of the Hanahan Fire Department and recently became an honorary firefighter himself.
