The hot-dog was very good as well. Just Glad I didn't get sick. But I was really disappointed by the lack of COVID precautions. I will be back for more tasty treats.   There aren't enough food, service, value or atmosphere ratings for The Little Island, Illinois yet. 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Little island isn't flashy but it has killer milkshakes, quality burgers and dogs, and excellent fries at a good price.



 They use Merks cheese (the real stuff) and their fries are excellent so needless to say, this is my go to place.

I've been dying to try this place, and the food was great -- what you would expect for a place like this. A gem of a place.  Fresh pickle, mayo, LTO and bacon and you're set.

 Upon first glance the menu (aka the wall) can be a bit overwhelming as there are a ton of frozen food options - but once you get past the Vegas like display of sodium, you'll see this is a burger, hotdog and fries joint.  Best burger in Evanston, maybe the north shore - and cheap! The hot dogs and fries were great. Employees handled food without gloves and hotdog was not good. They use real cheddar cheese and they are...phenomenal. I only wish there was more space to eat there, but I do enjoy the tables outside when the weather is nice. When I am in a hurry I call in my order for pick up, which is a great convenience. This is the best place in Evanston. This is a small restaurant, reasonably priced with the best dog I've found around the city. Welcome to The Little Island in Evanston. (almost) Very limited parking.
