Starving and Injured Pit Bull Gets Rescued

Eldad of Hope for Paws received a call about an abandoned injured pit bull.

She was so terrified she had her tail tucked between her legs and was thought to be a male dog initially.

This video shows Eldad and his team rescuing this scared, starving, abandoned pit bull from a park in L.A.

When he got to the bushes where she was hiding, he realized there was no more fight in her because she was so hungry and tired.

He took his time feeding her and she finally came out.

It was at this time that it was discovered she was a female dog and they named her Savannah.

She went right into his arms when she came out.

Savannah was then taken to the vet and had to undergo surgery to remove her left eye and a large tumor from inside her ear.

According to Eldad after surgery her sweet spirit came alive.

Savannah is living in a foster home for now and can adopted by contacting Second Chance At Love Humane Society.
