Woman And Pit Bull Both Victims Of Abuse Form Loving Bond

This touching video sends a powerful message against abuse through a photo shoot featuring an abused woman and abused pit bull who survived.

Melissa Dohme was in an abusive relationship and was stabbed 32 times and most of the wounds were to her face and a pit bull named Khalessi was badly abused and used as a bait dog and lost a lot of her face.

They were feeling unloved until they met each other. When they met, they formed a tight bond of love because both of them are survivors of abuse  Melissa could see the beauty inside Khalessi and feel all the love she had to give and Melissa is beginning to get her smile back.

A photographer named Lisa Otto brought these two together because they were survivors of abuse and for a reason. Who better to send a powerful message of hope and to fight against abuse then two survivors of abuse.

This photo shoot was so touching. Their smiles were beautiful. Their pictures sent a thousand words of hope.

Melissa said they won’t be kept down and silenced. She also said that she has been given her voice back and that she will carry on Klalessi’s voice to fight against abuse for people and animals and to show that love does overcome hate.
