Stray Pit Bull Rescued By KCPD

Kansas City Police Department  officers Jason  Cote and his partner  came to the
rescue of pit bull who was scared, hungry, thirsty and had been abandoned in a local park.

A local rescuer happened to drive by Swope Park as they officers were slowly
approaching the pit bull.

He feared the dog might get hurt so he thought he should intervene. As he slowly
approached he got a surprise. The officers were  trying to feed the pit bull  their
lunch and give him water out of their cups.

The officers were able to get the pit bull to calm down and get him the help he needed.

The officers named him Mr. Parks and he is currently in foster care in Missouri Pit Bull
Rescue where he will be up for adoption soon.
