Jack The Pit Bull Saves Cat From Coyote Attack
A Seminole, Florida cat is recovering thanks to a pit who rescued her from a coyote attack.
Jack the pit bull is being taken care of by Sheree Lewis who owns the cat while her brother Peter who is in the military is deployed in Afghanistan. Both of them are rescues.
Sheree says Jack is a hero after scaring off the two coyotes which had hold of the kitty and were shaking her violently.
One of the coyotes had the kitty by the neck and the other one had her by the tail.
Jack ran toward the coyotes. They dropped the kitty, ran and then the kitty was rushed to the vet.
The kitty has a broken tooth, is being treated for brain swelling and cannot walk at this time but is expected to be able to walk again.
Sheree and her family have called a trapper to set traps for the coyotes in the mangrove trees behind her house.
She believes the reason for Jack rushing the coyotes was to save his best friend.
Jack now stands guard and stays close to his best friend.
