This Pit Bull Called 911 And Saved The Life Of His Owner

This pit bull-labrador retriever mix named Major is a hero! Major saved the life of his owner, Terry McGlade, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran by calling 911 several times alerting the dispatchers that they needed help when McGlade had a seizure. McGlade said that Major was able to get his phone out of his pocket and that it was set up to dial 911 and that he stepped on the screen for a few seconds several times.

After McGlade served two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan and being wounded by a roadside bomb, he adopted Major, a rescued dog who is trained to sense when he is going to have a seizure and he also helps him with his PTSD anxiety.

McGlade says that he doesn’t think he could operate in the every day world without Major and that he would have been in trouble if it had not been for Major.

He calls the pit bull-labrador retriever mix Mutt and says that he is his hero.
