Saving Jax A Victim Of Illegal Dog Fighting

This is a story about a five month old pit bull mix puppy named Jax who recuperated from life threatening wounds to his head and neck believed to be the result of him being used as a bait dog in illegal dog fighting.

Jax wandered up on a shop’s porch and the owner’s found him collapsed and bleeding from multiple wounds to his neck and head and unable to stand. They called Unleashed Pet Rescue.

One of the shelter worker’s visited with Jax every night and nursed him back to health. After spending almost two weeks in intensive care, he was moved to foster.

Jax is now healthy, happy and has a chance at a life he always deserved.
