Calista’s Transformation

You will be surprised by this rescued pit bull’s transformation.

The pit bull named Calista was in poor shape.

She was skinny and covered in ticks.

The Phoenix, Arizonia police officer who found this injured female pit bull on the street couldn’t believe she was still alive.

Calista was so dirty the police thought she was brown.

The police also speculated she was blind because she was so swollen and scarred.

Calista ears were bitten off which could have been an indication that she was used as a bait dog in a dog fighting operation.

Jeannette and her husband rescued Calista from the shelter and rushed her to the ER vet.

The vets did everything they could.
