Depressed Rescued Pt Bull Only Responds To 7 Year Old Boy

This video is about a frightened depressed rescued pit bull named Nala who responds only to a 7 year old boy.

Nala was rescued from the streets of New Zealand and taken to ChristChurch Bull Breed Rescue.

The scared terrified pit bull you see at the back of the cage is Nala.

Abbey van der Plas, owner of ChristChurch Bull Breed Rescue took Nala home and spent two days sitting on the floor in front of her cage trying to coax her out from the back of the cage with no luck.

When Zach her 7 year old son joined her by Nala’s cage her personality completely changed. She felt safe. Nala walks up to Zach stretches, and gives Abbey a kiss. “My gut tells me that wherever she came from, there was a child there who made her feel safe,” Abbey told Inside Edition.com.

Nala is now settling in nicely with Abbey’s family and her love for children continues to grow. “She spends the night between her two sons’ beds and adores the company of kids over adults,” Abbey told Inside Edition.com.

Abbey’s family will continue to foster Nala until her anxiety issues resolve and then she will be ready to be adopted.
