Henderson Community Helps Idaho Man Find Missing Pit Bull After Crash
On March 20, 2017 Jammer Haggard was driving through the Valley on his way home to Idaho with his girlfriend Makaila and his 7 year old pit bull named Acilles when he was T-boned by another car from the side.
“It spun me around three times,” said Jammer. “My dog got ejected out of the window. He was gone before I even stopped spinning.”
All Jammer knew after the crash was that Acilles had run onto a golf course because he was scared.
“Not being able to find my dog. I’ve never had that happen ever.” said Jammer. “Never had him run off. He is always by me.”
The Henderson community then stepped up to help Jammer find Achilles. These were strangers he had never met before.
They also loaned Jammer a golf cart so the he could look for Achilles.
Jammer kept getting text from numbers he had never seen before.
These caring strangers searched for Achilles for three days.
Then finally on Thursday they found Achilles and Jammer and Acilles were once again reunited.
