How Hot Does It Get In A Parked Car

In this video Dr. Ernie Ward, a veterinarian  demonstrates how hot it gets inside a parked car on a summer day.

He sits in a parked car with all four windows cracked about an inch. It starts out with the temperature inside the car at about 94 degrees. After 30 minutes the temperature is about 117 degrees. This is the kind of temperature that kills.

He is sweating profusely and his clothes are soaking wet. Just imagine how this must feel to a dog who does not have the ability  to perspire and is slowly having his life burnt out of him.

Watch this video to his demonstration.

This video proves why you should never leave a dog in a parked car on a hot day.
