Lucas The Pit Bull Service Dog

This interviews occurs after a vicious pit bull attack.

Kathy Sweet talks about her service dog Lucas who changes the minds of many skeptic people.

Kathy Sweet was born with a heart condition and has had a number of operations and still has problems.

Her heart rate will drop suddenly and sometimes she will pass out.

She could not afford a service dog so she adopted Lucas jut hours before he was to be put to sleep.

Lucas is not a certified service dog but he is her service dog.

Lucas is able to pick up on her heart rate and does what he can to get her to sit down.

During the interview people came up petting Lucas showing that a properly trained dog is not vicious.

Pit bulls are not any more vicious than any other kind of dog.

Like Kathy Sweet said vicious dogs are the owner’s fault.

Any breed of dog will attack if it is not trained properly or socialized.
