Mama Pit Bull And Seven Puppies Rescued From Under A House
This video is about the rescue of a homeless pit bull and her puppies from under a house.
Hope for Paws was called from L.A. on Cloud 9 about a homeless dog who had given birth under a house. Claudia Perez volunteered to help Eldad Hagar and Lisa Chiarelli with this rescue mission.
As soon as the pit bull mama smelled the food, she came looking for it. She was friendly, walked right up to them and ate out of their hands. Lisa Chiarelli was able to easily put the Lucky Leash on her and she named her Sansa.
Now that Sansa was safe, it was time to locate the puppies hiding under the house. It was dark and dirty under the house and they were found in a far corner. Eldad crawled under the house and he knew he had work as quickly as possible to get all of the puppies out before they split up. He started picking them up one by one and handing them to Lisa. After he handed Lisa the third puppy, two of them crawled away and tried to hide but he made sure he got all of them. Once all seven puppies were safe, Eldad crawled in deeper to make sure he hadn’t missed any then he spent another ten minutes looking around to make sure he had all of the puppies.
The puppies were then put into a crate and loaded in a car. Sansa happily looked on while they were putting her puppies in the car. About an hour later they met up with Jennifer Rosen of Bullies and Buddies and some volunteers who took Sansa and her puppies to a foster family.
Sansa was a great mom and took good care of her puppies until they were weaned and ready for adoption.
Once the puppies were old enough to be weaned, all seven of them were adopted.
Update Sansa was also adopted not long after this.
