Pit Bull Adopted Through Rescue Organization Saves Boy’s Life
Pit bulls have a bad reputation for being vicious or aggressive. All pit bull owners know this is untrue. Pit bulls are inherently not aggressive. They have to be trained to be aggressive. It’s not the breed, it’s the owner. In fact if pit bulls are raised by responsible owners they are loving, loyal and protective.
Tracy and Tony Daniels certainly know this because they have adopted two pit bulls. Their second pit bull named Ember was adopted through Adore-a-Bulls Rescue, an organization that works to dispel the myths, misinformation and negative stigma about pit bulls and other bully breeds.
Ember took a special liking to Tre, their ten year old son and one night would be responsible for saving his life.
One night Tracy and Tony Daniels were sleeping when Ember came into their bedroom and woke them up. She sat by their bed and made low grumbling sounds until someone got up and followed her. When Tracy finally decided to get up, Ember led her directly to the bathroom where she found Tre, her ten year old son, lying halfway out of the bathtub having a seizure. Medics were called and they hurriedly took him to the hospital where he received medical attention.
They are grateful to Ember for letting them know about Tre’s medical emergency because there is no telling what might have happened if it had not been for her.
Ember was the hero.
