Dogs should be conditioned to taking baths when they are puppies. Certain steps
should be taken when giving a dog a bath. You should fill the bath tub up to the
dog’s knees with warm water then turn the faucet off and use a cup to dip the water.
Collaring the dog will keep him from jumping out of the bath tub and speaking
gently to the dog will help soothe him.
