Pit Bull Saves Boy From Swarm Of Bees
An Oregon City family is hailing their pit bull a hero after she saved the life of their eight year old son from a swarm of bees.
Eight year old Jesse-Cole Shaver, his fourteen year old sister, Jasmine Jones and some friends were exploring a creek down a deep embankment behind their apartment complex when one of the kids stepped on a rotten log unleashing a swarm of bees.
The kids ran up the hill but Jesse couldn’t and he was stung at least 24 times by the bees.
This is when Hades their pit bull came to the rescue.
She ran down the embankment, grabbed him by the pants leg and pulled him up the hill.
“Hades saw me and came and she dragged me up to the grass and stopped and let me crawl on her back and then took me to mom,” Jesse said to the reporters.
Jasmine had to use an EpiPen because she is allergic to bee stings and was stung five times.
Both kids were rushed to the hospital to be treated and were released a few hours later.
Jesse-Cole’s mom said, “If it had not been for Hades, some of the kids could have gotten sick or died.”
So glad to see something positive about dogs. There has been to much of the negative going around, about pit bull dogs. I have 7 and they are great. hope more people see this. their is no such thing of a bad dog just a bad owner. Love the great owners out there.
