Rescued Sick Injured Pit Bull Now Well Needs A Home

In this video Hope for Paws, an animal rescue organization, was contacted about an injured pit bull. Eldad knew they had to move fast because they were told this pit bull couldn’t even stand up. They found Penelope living in an industrial area in a squalid vacant lot by some old crates lying on a blanket left there for her by owner who dumped her there because he could no longer take care of her because she was becoming more sicker and because of the terribly infected cut on her inner thigh. She was flea bitten, starving, and fighting to survive.

Lisa Chiarelli, of Hope for Paws, gave Penelope some cheeseburger and found that she was so sweet. They also found out that she couldn’t walk due to this deep cut on her inner thigh so Lisa had to pick Penelope up and carry her to their vehicle.

They transported Penelope to The Little Red Dog, Inc animal shelter where she was given a bath and treated by a vet who put her on antibiotics and a high protein diet.

Penelope is now well and is looking for her loving forever home. She is just so sweet and friendly and gets along with everyone and everything.

I just don’t understand how anyone can leave their dog behind or dump them on the street.
