Scared And Homeless Pit Bull Rescued Dangerously Close To A Freeway

In this video Hope for Paws was contacted about a scared, homeless pit bull living in a dangerous place next to a freeway.

Michele Claseri had spent several weeks trying to help this pit bull and he named him Veyron.

Lisa Arturo joined with Eldad Hagar to try to rescue this pit bull. On their first attempt to catch Veyron they tried to sneak up on him using food but he was too scared and ran away and disappeared before they could catch him. They made several more attempts but they all failed so they knew they had to take drastic measures.

They climbed across the fence and found Veyron in a dangerous location right next to the freeway. They knew they had to proceed with extreme caution because any wrong move could cause him to jump onto the freeway.

They slowly moved toward Veyron. He was scared and started barking at them. They tried to keep him as calm as possible by talking to him. Eldad was finally able to get close enough to him to get a loop around his head and catch him. After months of surviving on his, Veyron was finally safe.

They put him in a cage and took him to the Hope for Paws Animal Rescue where they gave him a warm bath and some toys to play with and he also met some new friends.
