Two Therapy Pit Bulls Visit Sick Patients to Raise Their Spirits

Chris and Mariesa Hughes have eight dogs which can make life pretty hectic.

When they have some spare time, they like to visit hospitals with Stig and Gremlin their two therapy pit bulls.

In this video Chris and Mariesa take Gremlin and Stig to visit Uncle Bill, Mariesa’s Godfather who stays in a skilled nursing facility for end of life care.

Mariesa says, ” I think for him to see any dog makes him happy and feel like himself again.”

Gremlin also has his own Facebook page with close to 100,000 fans which is used to support the Mr. Mo Project that Chris and Mariesa started in honor of Mr. Moses, a black senior pit bull they rescued.

This project helps senior dogs that might not have a chance to be adopted any other way with vet bills and finding a home.

They also help dogs accepted into the project who need lifelong medication receive it thanks to their sponsors.
