Injured Pit Bull Rescued a Moment Before Disaster

This video is about the rescue of a pit bull who was given the name Tyrion.

Hope for paws received a call about a lost pit bull who was running up the freeway on-ramp towards super fast traffic.

This rescue could have easily ended up in a disaster.

However luckily at just the right time two off-duty animal control officers passed by and offered to help.

After a couple of minutes of gentle reassurance Eldad of Hope for Paws was able to get a leash around Tyrion’s neck.

Eldad then picked Tyrion up and carried him to the car where Lisa arrived shortly thereafter.

They then drove Tyrion to the vet.

Along with extreme neglect, the vets discovered Tyrion had developed a serious infection where he had been attacked and bitten by another dog and had an injured paw.

After Tyrion the pit bull had recovered from his injuries he was taken to Hope Ranch Animal Sanctuary where he is now waiting for a loving family to adopt him and give him a good forever home.
